LINCS is a group of GAUSS procedures which together will produce estimates of parameters of linear structural equation models that may incorporate latent variables.
The LINCS model may be divided conceptually into two parts, the measurement model and the structural model. Each of these parts contains a coefficient matrix and an associated covariance matrix.
