Review
This volume helps to advance our understanding of the ways in whichthestrucyire of globalizing capitalism, its content and effects maybestrategically shaped to be, through consensus, better. This isanimportant, interesting and compelling book by a brilliantindividualwho has achieved much throughout his career. (Transnational Corporations )

Product Description
Gordon Brown, Jonathan Sacks, Joseph Stiglitz, Hans Kung,ShirleyWilliams, and a dozen other leading thinkers in internationalbusinessand ethics identify the pressing moral issues which globalcapitalismmust answer. How can we develop a global economicarchitecture which isefficient, morally acceptable, geographicallyinclusive, andsustainable over time? If global capitalism -- arguablythe mostefficient wealth creating system currently known to man -- isto beboth economically viable and socially acceptable, each of itsfourconstituent institutions (markets, governments, supranationalagencies, and civil society) must not only be technically competent, butalso bebuttressed and challenged by a strong moral ethos. The bookincludescontributions from leading academics, politicians, andmoralists.Recognizing that solutions will not come from any onequarter, and thatany serious discussion of a just and equitable systemwill touch onquestions of ethics and faith, the book approaches theissues from arange of different disciplines and forums.
