Suppose that we have a patent on a new kind of medical equipment.
The rental market for equipment has demand curve P=400-(1/4)Q.
It costs ABC $90 to manufacture a piece of equipment.
A piece of equipment lasts 4 years from its date of manufacture.
The first and third year of the equipment's life are used for calibrating it and it cannot be rented out for these years.
Calibration cost is $12 per year.
What will be the rental price of equipment after the patent expires (and the market becomes competitive)? 忘说了需要考虑利息 年利率是百分之10.。。。。大家教教我这题怎么做啊

P=400-1/4Q..........TR=PQ=400Q-1/4Q^2.........>MR=400-1/2Q
MC=90+12/1.1+12/(1.1)^3=109.924
SET MC=MR, then  Q=580.15..........so that   p=254.962

不对呢。。。。
