AI 驱动的自动化尚未能对生产力的增长产生可量化的重大影响【1】。现今行业,除了面临市场需求和竞争的新挑战,它们尚需要一个被称为工业4.0的激进变革,AI与工业物联网(IIoT)【3】、大数据分析【4 - 6】、云计算【7 - 9】和信息物理系统【2, 10 - 11】的集成将使工业以灵活、高效和节能的方式运作。由于工业人工智能还处于起步阶段,必须明确其结构、方法和挑战以作为其在工业实施中的框架。为此,我们设计了工业人工智能的生态系统,它涵盖这一领域的基本要素并且为更好的理解和实施提供了指导方针。另外,我们也描述了可以建立在工业人工智能之上的使能技术,图1是工业人工智能与其他学习系统在一段时间内对所期望的系统性能的比较示意图。

二工业人工智能的关键要素:ABCDE
工业人工智能可以用ABCDE的特征进行分类,这些关键要素包含分析技术 (Analytics Technology),大数据技术(Big Data Technology),云或网络技术(Cloud or Cyber Technology),专业领域知识(Domain Knowledge), 证据(Evidence)。
