金融工程主要包括三个方面  金融工具的创新，金融资产的定价和金融风险的管理，其中金融风险管理是核心内容。金融工程偏实用型，引入工程思想来解决金融问题，如计算机，编程等。
而数理金融偏理论，主要运用数学思想，运用数学模型来思考经济金融问题也是现在的主流经济学的主要研究方式之一。
  一家之言，多多指教啊。。

well. Mathematical Finance is mainly focusing on math calculations like stochastic, optimization, statistics. To a different angle, Financial Engineering is much more relevant with computing, modelling or applications. So when you come cross like fancy stuffs, MF students are gonna like using their pencil but MFE students are with their database. But it doesn't mean MF are nothing high-tech~ We do know how to press button on keyboard..It's just more theoritical and as I consider, more important with research value and creativity.
