Once I dreamed the earth flooding, just like the time Noah made the boat.
It is an interesting dream.
I dreamed of a river, full of water. There was a road cross the river. The road leaded people to the other side of the bank.
I walked on the road and arrive at the other side. And then, I found the road disappeared and covered with flooding water.
Time likes water, flows in our life, from the past to present, from the present to the future. Every choice of life’s way we made has no way back. We walked the road, and have no chance to go back and start again. When we are regretting for yesterday, the tide of time is washing its track and leaves no footprint.
Besides, time will change everything.
Time changes people. The white-haired clumsy old man was a handsome and strong young man decades of years ago. The wandering beggar Da Vinci chose to paint as Judas in his painting was the one similar with god ten years ago.
Time changes the way. The quiet lonely way was noisy and crowded several months ago, and on the contrary, the way thousands of people are running was scolded by thousands of people before. The way full of flowers may be left alone couple of years later.
This is why we should live happily everyday. Everything is dying while it is growing. You will not be who you are now later. You are changing while growing older.
Everything has two processions at the same time. For example, a flower’s blossoming means being near to wither. A baby’s growing stronger means his time is becoming less.
Life likes a long dream. In the dream named life we have few chances to wake up.
