Company Overview: Ascent Global is an investment banking and private equity firm serving leading international and Chinese companies. We provide cross-border M&A advisory services and make equity investments in growth-phase Chinese companies.
Job Description: Analysts will support both investment banking advisory transactions as well as Ascent Global's private equity investment projects. They will work closely with the rest of the team and will take part in industry and market research, acquisition and investment target screening, company analysis, financial analysis and valuation, and due diligence. Analysts will have direct client exposure and significant execution responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience (investment banking, private equity or consulting preferred)
- Distinguished academic background
- Undergraduate degree from a leading Chinese or international university (Master's or MBA degrees are a plus)
- Background in finance or accounting
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT
- Fluency in both English and Chinese
- Self-motivated team player
