ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and execute business development plans in expanding the agriculture and construction markets in China. Develop market/customer revenue and earnings forecasts.
2. Responsible for new business development and new account management in the region. Able to explore and handle new customers and competent in a highly competitive environment with fast changing business requirements.
3. Develop and maintain growth strategy and product road map. Define the product strategy (portfolio) required to meet customer and market needs.
4. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the market-customers, competitors, and products.
5. Work closely with Product Engineering to develop new products and enhance existing products-functions, features, quality, costs, timing and innovation expectations.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with customers within the market segment. Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing superior service to all customers.
7. Interface with the customer to define problems and communicate with the organization to investigate corrective action(s) and/or continuous improvement opportunities.
8. Coordinate and participate in planning and display creation related to trade shows and other gatherings to promote sales.
9. Participate in the strategic manufacturing planning process and in identifying goals and objectives as they relate to the location.
10. Define and implement necessary actions to meet goals and objectives and continuously improve operations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar from a four-year college or university; and 8 years Business Development experience.
· Masters in Business Administration preferred.
· Sound problem solving skill, judgment and decision making, and strong initiatives;
Demonstrated ability to think at a strategic level and to work independently;
· A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit;
Good communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese; Good presentation and negotiation skills.
· Experience with developing business sector plans within new markets and successfully implementing these plans.
