据路透社报道，中国人民银行行长周小川在周二（20日）发表的一篇杂志专访中表示，政府将把外汇储备中的“一小块”用于这家外汇投资机构。他还表示，中国将不再继续积聚更多外汇储备。他在危地马拉首都出席美洲开发银行（IDB）会议的时候说，“许多人都说，中国的外汇储备（已经）够多了。”

Ben Bernanke (March 28,in prepared remarks to the Joint Economic Committee of Congress in Washington ): ``The economy appears likely to continue to expand at a moderate pace over coming quarters,'' ``However, the uncertainties around the outlook have increased somewhat in recent weeks.'', inflation ``remains uncomfortably high.''

All benchmark indices droped by about 1% in response.

A bit more on yesterday's testimony made by Bernank.

Bernanke told Congress yesterday (the first since the March 21 decision) that risks to economic growth have increased, especially because of the downturns in housing and company investment. The dangers aren't big enough to make the Fed dump its orientation toward combating prices, or ``inflation bias,'' he said.

Steven East (chief economist at Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc.) comments: ``At some point a Fed speaker, and it turned out to be the man himself, would come out and correct any misperception that the bias had been outright dropped'', ``What we learned today was that hopes for a rate cut sooner are probably misplaced ''

What we've learn from it: Chairman's words did worth billion dollars.
