Position Requirements:
-Actuarial Science, Mathematics orStatistics major preferred
- Must be able to read, analyze andinterpret procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents asrequired.
-Excellent telephone, public relations andoral/written English communication skills are required.
-Ability to interpret a variety ofinstructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Strong working knowledgeof Microsoft Excel and Access. Knowledge of @Risk preferred, but not required.
Position Objectives:
-Support Health Reinsurance relatedperformance data verification, identify errors in the reinsurance accounts to ensureaccurate booking in the system.
-Work with ActuarialService team for quarterly forecasting analysis, including loss ratio, premium projectionsand make updates accordingly in FSRI
-Gather and analyze data and present analysis in a formatappropriate for pricing, loss reserving and other financial analysis
-Performs various projects with regard to reinsurance model to testbusiness for profitability and provide statisticaljustification needed to revise rate or terms.
- Can work 3-4 days a week
