A more technically orientated introduction to financial markets.
Introduces the main markets and the most important financial models
used by practitioners (such as the CAPM model of equity prices,
duration modelling of bond prices, and pricing of options and forwards).
While Pillbeam only covers some of the topics in this course, he does
provide a good link to other more technical finance MSc modules.
2. Alistair Milne (2009), "The Fall of the House of Credit", Cambridge
University Press
This is my own detailed description of the global banking crisis, pitched
at MSc level. Very happy if you do buy this. Most relevant to lectures 3,
5 and 10.
