本人欲研究x gender m y 之间的关系，y为因变量，x为预测变量，gender、m为调节变量。x y m为连续性变量，gender即性别
研究设计为多时段追踪研究。
数据格式为 SPSS,具体如下：

请问在SAS里面怎么分析这样的数据，如果使用多层线性模型的方法，在SAS里面该怎么实现呢。

急啊，是我的问题问的太笼统了吗。

Hierarchical linear model, as it named, contains multiple levels from  primary to secondary, etc. What are the levels in your data?
As seen, your data is a longitudinal data by time. Usually we fit this kind of data as
population model:
(1) GEE- repeated statement in GENMOD
subject-specific model:
(2) R-side matix- repeated statement in MIXED
(3)G-side matrix-random statement in Mixed
In essence, hierarchical model is one type of random effect model.
All in all, we assumed, bewteen-ID observations are independent but correlated within ID. we could specify  different covariance structures based on our knowledge and how data perform.

i don't have a full picture about your question. Anyway, a paper from Judith Singer in 1998 had a detailed explanation about this model. By the way, before using the model, you have to have a deep understanding about the context of the project. i saw you say baseline control in multi-level model, that sounds strange to me.
