       是不是我们进行回归分析时，不需要判断是否两个变量之间有因果关系？只要两个变量存在相关关系即可，如果是这样的话，我们所说的解释变量和被解释变量有什么意义呢？无非只是选择谁去当解释变量吧？还有我们平时所说的R^2是解释变量的解释能力怎么理解？无非就是预测能力吧？其实，我最近看一些文献，总所有的解释变量和因变量都存在相互因果关系？十分迷惑这个问题，大家不要见笑，初学者。希望大家一起探讨下。。。。

there are so many things in order to imply causality. So with regression analysis you can not say anything about this. Furthermore Rquared or adjusted R squared (with more than one explanatory variable) we defne the proportion of variation in the response that is explained by the regression model.

Two misconceptions there are :
1. If R squared is very large,  the regression model is useful for predicting new observations.
2. If R squared is small, there are no meaningful relationships exist in the data
