Conference Theme:
Theoretical and empirical papers are solicited on all important aspects of public service delivery and evaluation. Comparative studies across different countries are especially encouraged. Topics include, but are not limited to the following:
1. The impacts of fiscal austerity and cutback on public service delivery.
2. The impacts of increasing public expectation on public service delivery and citizen satisfaction.
3. Metrics and measurements of public service quality.
4. Public service quality, and citizens’ satisfaction with and trust in government.
5. Initiatives and innovations in public service delivery.
6. Comparative studies of practices in public service delivery and evaluation.
7. Intersectoral collaborations in public service delivery.
Proposals for panels addressing the themes are also encouraged.
Working Language:
English and Chinese are the official languages of the conference. Papers and presentations are expected to be delivered in English or Chinese.
Proposal Submission and Acceptance:
Proposals with maximum 500 words should be submitted via the Proposal Submission page no later than June 15, 2013.
The review process will be completed by June 30, 2013, and notifications will be sent thereafter.
Full papers should be submitted no later than September 30, 2013.
Presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will also be published in a special issue of Journal of Asian Public Policy.
