现在正在赶论文，需要用hlm分析日志研究的数据。在输入数据时，遇到问题了，老是提示 It looks like your level-2 file is not sorted. Please sort this file and re-run. 于是重新检查了下level 1和level2的id，已经排过序了，而且是对应的，为啥还会总有这个提示呢？请懂hlm的前辈们帮忙指教下啊，谢谢哦！


左边是张雷书中的数据范例，右边是我的数据，请大家帮忙分析下问题出在哪儿哦，先谢谢各位了！！！

It's a current message in HLM, please read your data before export to hlm, your SPSS or other material,
Sort your data in these format and reexport them to mdm and the program will be runned without problem.
If the problem persist please repost your hlm message and i will try to help you.

However, I do not quite understand "please read your data before export to hlm, your SPSS or other material"... so which software should I use to read my data, spss or hlm? The data document  formats are .sav, created by spss... And I have sorted the data in the format above... so what is your advice? Thank you so much!

Besides, when I clicked the "Make MDM", it always warns that the "level 1.sav is empty."... so what is wrong with it?

现在问题解决了。。。说下原因，给遇到同样问题的同学参考O(∩_∩)O哈！

原因大概是“由于SPSS和HLM版本不匹配，造成HLM无法直接读入较高版本的SPSS数据的原因”，这是以前的一个帖子，当时那个作者用的spss版本是11.5，大家可以百度这句话就能搜到原文了。。。

后来作者建议用hlm 6以上的版本，或是粘贴到hlm自带的example中，我的就是hlm 6.08,试了复制到其自带sav文件中，还是不行。。。我的spss是21.0的，可能是因为版本还是有点高吧。。。o(╯□╰)o。。。

最后是下了新出的hlm 7学生版，问题解决了。。。供大家参考O(∩_∩)O哈！

The problem may be due to the structure of your data that is the distribution of the level 2 units by level one units. The structure of a hierarchical model must be like a panel model that is some level two units by the same (some if umbalanced) level one units.
