Chairman Jin first introduced Elephant Alliance’s business model and its present progress of the international trade and global strategic plan. After listening to the presentation, Ms. Leite was very impressed with Elephant Alliance’s business model and its progress. She expressed that in a developed country such as Portugal, cooperation plan should be more specific and deal with lands and companies that the government has control. She realized that Elephant Alliance’s industrial park and infra-structure approaches were suitable with Portugal. She though Elephant Alliance should consider a comprehensive cooperation with Portugal.
Mr.Nuno Durão said that Portugal is the perfect country for Elephant Alliance to cooperate with since first, it has the best strategic location and has several important infrastructure seaports and railroad projects, Second, Portugal’s airline management and water service technology are way ahead of other countries in the world and third, Portugal has many good products which are not marketed well globally due to the lack of efforts in brand building. These products will be the best candidates for cooperation with Elephant Alliance.
Both parties agreed to keep exchanging information and exploring areas for cooperation and will start with the cooperation in trading. Ms.Leite will introduce Portugal Food Trade Association which already has presence in Beijing, Shanghai and Macau to Elephant Alliance. Ms. Leite also extended an open invitation for Elephant Alliance to visit Portugal.
