Fortunately, </p><p>using SAS we can provide Excel information from various platforms using several different techniques: </p><p>This paper will examine the following techniques: • Export Wizard • New SAS Explorer options in SAS 9&reg; • Custom DATA step • SSCFLAT macro • Windows ODBC connection • New in SAS 9&reg;, MS Excel libname engine • ODS By using these or other techniques, the SAS programmer is able to take advantage of SAS for creating the reports while still meeting the end users’ requirement.</p>
