The paper studies chronoligical data as linked to the degree of dispersion ( among recipients / the geographical dimension). There is a well-known law - based on theoretically justified assumptions - the increase resp. decrease of the proportion of new elements among the community. It should not be ignored in such as paper as yours. I wonder if you could try and show how your study is related to this law.
