职位简介：
- The data associate works as part of the data operations team to process and ingest macroeconmic data releases that are used by internal and external clients. This position is for a Data Associate that is fluent in English. He/she will work ona team to contribute to general updating and project work for the group as a whole.
工作职责：
- Timely updating of assigned sources into databases
- Quality checking the data before release
- Managing changes on source websites， data formats， feed guides
- Research and adding new data and/or sources as requested by internal or external clients
- Provide second level support to customer tickets
- Process improvement feedback to data team and management
- Participation in special projects assigned by supervisor
学历要求：
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics or equivalent educational or work experience in processing or working with economic data or relevant technical experience or interest.
工作经历要求：
- Work effectively as a team member in an environment with a great deal of ‘work sharing’ and cooperative activities
- The ability to understand data discrepancies and data that require additional examination before ingestion and release to databases and clients.
- Extreme comfort and proficiency using the web for research and news gathering
- Be able to work independently and keep management apprised of any special data or release processing requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office products including Excel macros for use in processing data.
- Understand and utilize Internet Explorer to surf the web to view source sites， create and use bookmarks， to use search engines such as ‘Google’ to undertake research on data assignments.
其他技能：
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Korean is required.
- VBA programming， desirable but not required
