2016 International Conference on Applied Financial Economics
会议背景：Applied financial economics is an important subfield in economics. It has attracted substantial research efforts from both academic and industrial communities. In recent years, significant advancements in data access and econometric techniques have made numerous opportunities for innovation in this topic. In the mean time, rapid changes in regulations and market conditions in developed markets and recent development in emerging markets have generated new challenges in this field. Such opportunities and challenges have significantly expanded the scopes of traditional research in applied financial economics.
The goal of the conference is to
·Bring together academic researchers and industry practitioners from the world into an interact
·Present state-of-the-art research works and applications in the general area of applied financial economics;
·Address the challenges for integrating new theories and econometric methods into financial and economic applications;
·Provide visions for future research and development on applied financial economics.
The special issue based on the conference will be rewarding for academic and industrial communities.
Call for Papers
SHU-UTS SILC Business School, Shanghai University, would like to invite paper submissions to participate in the International Conference on Applied Financial Economics,July 2-3, 2016. All papers presented at the conference will be allowed to be submitted to a Special Issue of the journal Economic Modelling. Papers will be reviewed and high quality papers will be published in the special issue of Economic Modelling December 2016.
The central theme is applied financial economics, and welcomes papers that are in the frontier of econometric applications. All submissions, both theoretical and applied, are welcome. The covered fields may include but not limited to:
Asset Pricing
Corporate Finance
Behavioral Finance
Energy Finance
Macro Finance
International Finance, Policies and Regulations
We are going to open several Chinese sessions in the conference. Papers written in Chinese are also welcome for submission.
