Selected Papers Published ina Regular Issue of Economic Modelling

SHU-UTS SILCBusiness School, Shanghai University, would like to invite paper submissions toparticipate in the International Conference on Applied Financial Economics, July 2-3, 2016. All papers presented atthe conference will be allowed to be submitted to the journal Economic Modelling (SSCI Tier 3). Paperswill be reviewed and high quality papers will be published in a regular Issue ofEconomic Modelling under the guesteditorship of Professor Xuezhong (Tony) He (Professor of Finance, University ofTechnology, Sydney; email: Tony.He1@uts.edu.au; Tony.He-1@uts.edu.au), Professor Zhongzhi (Lawrence) He(Associate Professor of Finance, Brock University, Canada; Visiting Professorof SILC, Shanghai University; email: zhe@brocku.ca), and Professor Xiaoneng Zhu (Professor ofFinance, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, xiaonengz@gmail.com).

The central theme isapplied financial economics, and welcomes papers that are in the frontier ofeconometric applications. All submissions, both theoretical and applied, arewelcome. The covered fields may include but not limited to:

•     AssetPricing

•     CorporateFinance

•     EnergyFinance

•     MacroFinance

•     InternationalFinance, Policies and Regulations

All submissionsshould be made by sending completed paper(s) to one of the guest editors (email listed above) no later than March 15, 2016. All papers will berefereed. Decisions on accepted papers will be conveyed to authors by April 30, 2016. The journal’s onlinesubmission for the regular Issue will open from July 10-20, 2016. It is expected that final decisions, followingthe journal refereeing policy, on submitted papers will be made by November2016. The issue is expected to be published in December 2016.

The conferencewill open several Chinese sessions to address recent development and challengesin the Chinese market. Papers written in Chinese are also welcome forsubmission.
