MFE SOA Syllabus上有一条是：Explain what it means to say that stock prices follow a diffusion process.

A diffusion process means that although the future values of the process depend on the current value, they do not depend on the path taken to reach the current value. Basically, when calculating S(T) a diffusion process only cares about S(t) where t=now, and nothing before S(t).
