This can be helpful for the users of this forum.

Some time ago I had to create some charts when I was working in a diplomatic position. The charts are avaialble here http://pacha.hk/tradechilechinaworld_2015.html   

I could not write in chinese using R and ggplot2. My solution was to use Adobe Heiti Std Regular and it worked fine.

Enclosed you will find a zip file with my charts in english and chinese, and also the typography that I used.
