2017年，暨南大学经济与社会研究院（IESR）成功举办了第一届流动人口子女学术研讨会暨政策论坛，成为国内外青年经济学者和政府机构工作人员交流流动人口子女问题的重要平台。2018年，第二届流动人口子女学术研讨会暨政策论坛将于2018年5月19日-5月20日在暨南大学召开。
流动人口子女问题已经成为我国新型城镇化进程中一个迫在眉睫的重大战略问题。城镇化过程中大规模的城乡人口流动造成了两个规模庞大而特殊的群体：流动儿童与留守儿童。流动儿童在城市中面临的最主要困境是教育问题，留守儿童面临辍学，人身安全，性侵，孤独抑郁等由于监护缺失带来的问题。党的十九大提出，“努力让每个孩子都能享有公平而有质量的教育”，再次强调了教育服务均等化的重要性。此次会议希望集合学界、教育部门及工作在流动及留守儿童第一线人员的各方力量，通过学术角度探讨和对相关政策的交流与互动，推动流动儿童和留守儿童教育向更加公平、均衡、优质发展。
现向国内外征集高质量论文，欢迎关于流动儿童、留守儿童、流动人口家庭、弱势群体儿童等各方面的相关论文投稿。

Call for paper
The 2nd Forum on Children of Migrants
The Institute for Economic and Social Research at Jinan University held the 1st Forum on Children of Migrants in 2017. It creates a great platform for researchers and officials. The 2nd Forum on Children of Migrants will be held on May 19th and 20th, 2018 at the main campus (shipai) of Jinan University in Guangzhou. This forum, focusing on migrant children and left behind children, will include both presentations of research papers and roundtable policy panel discussions.

Submission:
Please submit a complete paper or an extensive abstract to migrantchildren18@163.com for consideration by the organizing committee. Priority will be given to full papers. We invite submissions from all areas related to migrant children and left behind children, including but not limited to education, health, human capital, and their families. Research on disadvantaged children is also welcome. The presentations can be in either English or Chinese, so submissions in both languages are acceptable.
Deadline for submissions: April 20th, 2018, midnight Beijing time. Decisions will be sent to submitters during the first week after the deadline.
Fees: We will cover local accommodations.
