各位好：

請問在stata執行fama french模式，我查了一下，有現成的do檔，

但是在stata鍵入「findit ffind」，結果並不能安裝，

請問是出了什麼錯了呢？謝謝大家！

建议您把那个ado档下载后
复制贴到您的stata档案匣里

ffind 是他写的program 他如果没被stata收录, 您findit都没用也找不到的
但他没写说明档

建议您用notepad或wordpad来开启 ffind.ado
从里面
您可以看到使用ffind应该的打法

help usersite

你将看到：

1.  Place the files on your homepage
    Copy the files to the directory containing your home page.  After that, users all over the world can access them from inside Stata by simply typing
        . copy  http://www.zzz.edu/users/~me/myprog.ado  myprog.ado
        . copy  http://www.zzz.edu/users/~me/myprog.sthlp  myprog.sthlp
        . copy  http://www.zzz.edu/users/~me/mydata.dta  mydata.dta
    Users would still need to "install" (copy) myprog.ado and myprog.sthlp to the appropriate place.


大致看了一下，好像命令ffind完不成你所需要的Fama-French分析。

ffind 只能进行 FF 行业分类。

If you want to compute the three factors, that's a different matter. I suggest that you visit the website:

If you want to use the fama-french three-factors for regression analysis, you don't need any special ado files. I suggest that you read:

Fama, Eugene F.; French, Kenneth R. (1993). "Common Risk Factors in the Returns on Stocks and Bonds". Journal of Financial Economics 33 (1): 3–56.
