The elevator became a high-rise building to house the equipment. There are currently three types of elevator control system control mode: relay control system (early installation of the elevator control system of a number of relay), PLC control system, computer control system. Relay control systems as High failure rate, unreliable and ineffective control mode, power consumption is very large has gradually been eliminated. Although computer control system can control the function of strong, but there is poor anti-interference, system design complexity, General maintenance and repair personnel could not master the technology and other defects. Using PLC control system has greatly enhanced the reliability of the lift, maintainability and flexibility to extend the service life of the elevator at the same time shorten the development cycle. So in recent years, PLC get in the field of industrial control is widely used. FP-X PLC is the recently introduced small PLC, its function is very powerful. This paper describes the use of Panasonic FP-X to write a four-story elevator control procedures and test procedures for elevator operation. Practice shows that, based on Panasonic FP-X Programmable Controller elevator control system has good application value. Keywords: automatic control; PLC; Elevator control
