In the configuration software, occupies the only physical space through the configuration production in a goal application project in the computer hard disk (logical space), may use an only name to mark, is called an application procedure. May save many application procedures in the identical computer, the configuration software visits its configuration content through the application procedure name, opens its configuration content to make the revision or its application program loading computer memory investment real-time movement. From the configuration software's connotation said that the configuration software is refers to the software domain, the operators act according to the application object and the control duty request, the disposition (including object definition, manufacture and edition, object condition characteristic attribute parameter hypothesis and so on) the user application software's process, is also regards as the configuration software “the application procedure generator”. Speaks the configuration software from the application angle is completes the system hardware and the software communication, establishes the scene and the monitoring level communication man-machine contact surface software platform, its application domain not only limits to the industrial automation domain, is turning toward the more application domain development and the seepage. Along with the computer technology and networking's swift development, opened the broad development opportunities for the industrial automation, the user has been possible to facilitate sets up the high quality highly effective supervisory system quickly, and through used the long-distance monitoring and the diagnosis, prepares and so on hotly the vanguard technology, caused the system to be safer reliably, in this aspect, the MCGS labor controlled the configuration software to provide the powerful function. This design controls the configuration software's characteristic and the function by a project example to the MCGS labor carries on the comprehensive description. It uses the MCGS labor to control the configuration software's elementary operation eo and the usage, completes a simple project configuration work.
