We choose 3dsmax as our tool to make the building model, because its good compatibility with other software , such as CAD. What is more, it allow us make more develop and perfect of the 3D building model. There are three step of the design: the first is information collection and plan of construction drawing, the second is the make of the building model ，the third is the map’s Image processing. The key of these step is how to make a beautiful model, I adopt make a 3D model from 2D, not make a 3D model directly from taking many Boolean operations on the geometry. There are three kind of functions can finish 3D model, they are extrusion, turning, chamfering. In this building model in making, basically is used to realize the function of extrusion of 3D.
