Pingnan has been taking several measures to speed up the pace of rural consumption and to strengthen the circulation of rural products.

Creating a more mature electronic appliance market in Pingnan is one of those measures. “Home appliances going to the countryside” is a literal translation of the measure’s Chinese name. Specifically, the policy entails government allowances or subsidies given directly to consumers for buying home appliances in rural areas. To date, 10 registered outlets have taken in a total revenue of 150,000 yuan.

Upgrading the rural market comes second. Building up the retail sale network in Pingnan, rectifying the disorder of rural markets, and waging a war against the counterfeits are what should do to create a mature and prosperous market in Pingnan.
