After readint through this paper, one thing I feel most is the power and enfluence of big investment banking corporations. Goldman said to sell commodities, the stock market fell; Goldman said to buy raw materials and had a quite good reputation of it, the stock market jumped. I didn't know finance or economu a lot, but i keep on reading newspapers often. In the turmoil stock market, winners are always those with large capital, growing bigger and bigger. Losers are everywhere, chances are that people are usually indulged in the markets, betting that themselves will win some. Truth is that reality is making people heartbreak.
Guess this is only the phenomenon of the story, but how to analysis this issue at a more sophisticated level, I need to learn more for books and friends here. Thanks~~

As one of the world's biggest and influential financial institutions, Goldman Sachs should never be careful too much for its comments. Most investors and banks and even the governments are listening to their forcasts, one little word form them can cause huge wave in the stock markets and the futures markets. The quickly rebound of commodities from the big dive yesterday seems somewhat incredible, although it is good for investors, I don't think this rebound may continue for a long time because it is pushed by Goldman and Morgan Stanley but not the real demands of producers.

The euro strengthened 0.3 percent versus the yen. The Ifo institute in Munich said its German business climate index held at 114.2 from April, compared with a projected decline to 113.7 in a Bloomberg survey with 24 forecasts .
