In January, sedan sales in China totalled 415,431 units, up 36% YoY, according to China Auto Market. This is the second-

highest high monthly sedan sales figure (the highest figure was in December 2006: 425,738 units, see Table 1). By January,

total sedan inventory at manufacturers reached 93,528 units, up 27% YoY. The sedan sales growth of 36% YoY in January is

above our fullyear 2007 forecast of 25% YoY (4.7m units). In our view, the risk to our fullyear sedan sales forecast for

China is on the upside
