Actuarial Analyst – Global Consumer Lines

Position Description
1. Perform rate level reviews and A/E studies
2. Conduct segmentation analysis using generalized linear models and other predictive modeling techniques
3. Develop elasticity models
4. Actively participate in current and future data needs for performing advanced actuarial analytics
5. Support ERM, capital management function, and finance actuaries as requested

Technical Skills and Expertise
1. Preferred minimum 2 years of pricing experience
2. Master’s degree in statistics, applied econometrics, actuarial science, mathematics or other quantitative field, or PhD preferred.
3. High level of statistical expertise and practical experience of statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, Emblem and R) strongly preferred
4. Excellent analytical skill, good computer skills (Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/VBA, etc.)
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Mandarin and in English, overseas exposure preferred, but not required
6. Preferred minimum of 2 exam passes towards FCAS/SOA qualification, or equivalent.
