我觉得问题比较菜鸟,但是我还是不会弄.是这样的:
我需要把IBES里面的每年10月份做的对于当年年末的盈余预测的数据挑出来.就是例如:1996年每个月都对1996年12月的盈利有预测,而我只需要1996年10月对1996年12月的盈利预测的值.于是我要用SAS来完成这个任务.

我自己研究了好几天,就只弄懂了一点皮毛,又没有足够的时间来让我自学SAS, 所以只好在这里问问牛人,有没有可以帮我的.我觉得intck 和intnx两个命令应该可以完成这个任务. 但是具体要怎么用我,我试了半天还是不行.

months=intck('month',ForecastEndDate,date2);                 注:ForecastEndDate是一个变量,即每年的12月
date2=intnx('month',ForecastEndDate,-3);
If months=-2 then output;
run;

     REPDATS   Num     Report Date (Actual Value), SAS Format

If you only need October of the year, you can use month(estdats) = 10 as condition to keep the observations you want.

You can use the WRDS webpage query to get all the data and run on your computer. It would be a little bit easy. There are sample code you can refer to in following link:
