DEMAND FOR AUTOMOBILES IN THE
UNITED STATES, by Gregory C. Chow.
(Amsterdam: North Holland Publishing Company,

The author applies the framework of economic
analysis to the study of the demand for
passenger automobiles. The study covers the
period 1921 to 1953, and was originally undertaken
as a doctoral dissertation at the University
of Chicago.
