前面可能有讲到什么是企业家精神吧。可能企业家精神在前文有两种定义标准，一种是xxx，另一种是必须对该公司来说有新东西。但是作者认为，这另一条比较狗屎。接下来就举了个例子。如果西南航空在欧洲市场成功地复制了它在美国市场所施行的概念，那么按照另一个标准它就不算作具有企业家精神。如果一个新入行的公司（比如Ryan航空）复制了西南航空的概念并把它应用于欧洲市场，那么这家公司就算是具有企业家精神。这一点无论从任何角度来说都有点别扭，尤其是从市场的角度来说更是狗屎至极。

我觉得：
1。可以翻译成“指导手册”之类的；
2。是否可以就翻成“学者”或“研究人员”；
3。是说：对企业要求新意这个标准可能带来不理想的结果。例如，如果西南航空成功地将他们的理念复制到欧洲市场上，那这不算创业；但如果一个新的企业复制了这一理念并将其成功地带到欧洲市场，这就算是创业了。
最后一句我觉得得结合上下文理解。
