Abstract: chapter 6 motivational and emotional influences on decision making
foorbridge dilemma, trolley diemma are two interesting instance for decision making. we do not necessily apply our emotions to our decisions in the manner that we would choose upon greater reflection. this chapter covers situation in which we make decisions that are inconsistent with our longterm interests because of a temporary emotional or motivational impluse to pursue some tempting alternative where due to addition, hunger, sexual arousal or some other transitory passion. how to handle tension what we want to do and what we shall do and how to cope with different fairness in which people interpret and how our emotional states influence our judgment.
