Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt served as the company's CEO from July 2001 until April 2011. He supported the launch of such successful products as Gmail, Android, and Chrome and the acquisitions and integration of dozens of companies, including DoubleClick and YouTube. Prior to joining Google, Schmidt served as Chairman and CEO of Novell, Inc.
