A study of federal income taxation of individuals. The course includes an introduction to taxation andl detailed coverage of individual taxpayer gross income, exclusions, deductions, credits, and computations. The course will provide an appreciation for tax policies behind the law and will provide a practical orientation for tax planning as well as compliance.
