西方经济学通用是Goods and Services。
Commodity这字已经少用。
经济学讨论的当然是商品，难道讨论家里私人的物品。
经济学是社会科学，最重用是应用。
好像这论坛漫无边际无限上岗随心定义价值呀，劳动呀，而没有范围，不设定义。
讨论到经济崩溃地球毁灭都无结果。
易求无价宝，难得有情郎，是俗语，这个价根本不属于经济范畴。
劳动创造价值，怎样创造？怎样量化？怎样凝结在商品内，方程式呢？
劳动和价值本来就是人类思想的产物，有些是属于哲学范畴。
1980的1元，2015年的1元，1美元，1日元。。。。
不断在变化，究竟价值多少？
这个经济学反而能给出相对的价值比例。兑换率，购买力平价理论，利率平价理论，
利息差异，生活水平，工资基准。。。
所谓价值其实是属于哲学范畴更多一些。

将汉语翻译变成官方权威，有句俗语：“妹仔大过主人婆。”
可惜全球根本不会理你汉译，唯有自吹自嗨。
这是Michael Parkin的经济学的定义，我查了曼昆第七版的Principles of Economics也是这样定义。
美帝最厉害的地方就是名词和定义精准。
以前电脑房叫EDP或者DP，美帝改了为IT ，
以前人事部叫Personnel Deapartment，美帝改了为 Human Resources Department。

Goods and services are the objects that people value and produce to satisfy human wants.  
Goods are physical objects such as cell phones and automobiles.
Services are tasks performed for people such as cellphone service and auto-repair service.

Private Goods A private good is both rival and excludable. A can of Coke and a fish on East Point Seafood’s  farm are examples of private goods.

Public Goods A public good is both nonrival and nonexcludable.
A public good simultaneously benefits everyone, and no one can be excluded from its benefits.
National defense is the best example of a public good.

Commodity汉译为商品，Goods又译为商品，
这是你汉译的问题，你知道Commodity和Goods根本不是一回事。
美国商品交易法 : Commodity exchange act
"commodity exchange"的意思是商品交易所,是一个交易大量商品如油、金属、谷物、咖啡等的地方。
The Commodity Exchange Act (CEA) regulates the trading of commodity futures in the United States.
一般的Good and Services是受(美国)统一买卖法规管的。
美国于1906年仿效英国的货物买卖法(*Sale of Goods Act)而制定的法规，其全名为"The Law Governing Sales of Goods at Common Law Under the Uniform Sales Act"，

再看看Mr. Michael Parkin经济学教科书给出的定义。Goods怎可能与Commodoty同样翻译成“商品”混为一谈。
Most natural resources, such as farm land, can be used repeatedly. But a few natural resources are nonrenewable.  Nonrenewable natural resources are resources that can be used only once. Examples are oil, natural gas, and coal.  The prices of nonrenewable natural resources are determined in global  commodity markets and are called  commodity prices.

所以商品的价值和大小是由使用者（消费者）认定的。觉得值就购买。
不是由工人的劳动决定。
