At the airport
Miss Li hua,the secretary of the East Import &Export Corporation of China,is now at the airport to meet Mr.Smith,who comes from California.But Miss Li meets the wriong person first.Then she meets Mr.Smith.

L:Excuse me,are you Mr.Smith from the U.S.?
R:No,I'm afraid you've made a mistake.My name is Robinson.
L:I'm sorry.I've got the wrong person.
R:Never mind.
L:But could you tell me which one is Mr.Smith? He has just arrived from California.
R:I think I can.See that tall man over there? He is the Mr.John Smith from Clifornia.He and I came by the same airplane.
L:Thank you very much.Good-bye.
R:Good-bye.

L:Excuse me , you must be Mr.Smith from California.
S:Yes,I'm John Smith from California.
L:How do you do? My name is Li Hua. I'm from the East Import & Export Corporation of China.
S:How do you do,Miss Li.
L:You are welcome to China,Mr.Smith.Our manager has asked me to come and meet you.
S:Thank you,Miss Li. I'm very glad to meet you.
L:Glad to meet you,too.Hope you had a good trip.
S:Fine.I had a very pleasant flight.
L:I am very glad to hear that.Let's take a short rest in the waiting room,then we will go through the formalities.
S:Ok.
In the Waiting Room
In the waitong room, Mr.Smith talks about his trip with Li Hua. Then Li Hua helps Mr.Smith to claim his baggage.

L:Not at all. I do hope you've had a pleasant flight.
S:It wasn't too bad on the hole.But we arrived later than expected.A storm brought us some trouble,so the flight was delayed.
L:Then you must be tired.Would you like a cup of tea?(To an attendant)Two cups of tea,please.
S:Thanks.It smells good.Chinese tea is famous all over the world.Sometimes I would rather have tea than coffee.
L:This is Longching tea,one of the most famous Chinese teas.
S:It tastes good.

L:Let's go and claim you bagage.
S:Ok.
L:How many pieces of baggage do you have?
S:One suitcase and two bags.
L:Wait a minute,I'll b back soon.(Going to claim the baggage and,returning soon.)Is this your baggage,Mr.Smith?
S:Yes,that'right. I'm sorry to put you to so much trouble.
L:Not at all.I'm glad to be of help to you.
S:What shall we do now?
L:You'll go through the Customs.
S:Where is the custom house?
L:Look,that building is.I'll take you there.
