Salary Ranges at NEU in the USA

Salary ranges are used as guidelines in determining individual salaries. Each applicant’s education and previous work experience are taken into account when determining salary.
The University uses available market data to determine salary ranges that reflect the market rate for positions. These ranges are reviewed annually and are adjusted accordingly.
New employees are generally offered starting salaries between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Starting salaries are based on a number of factors which include education, experience, internal equity and other requirements of the specific position.
When an employee transfer results in a grade change, the amount of salary adjustment will be determined by the department based on the employee's position in the salary range, and equity considerations relating to other employees in similar positions. In these cases, department managers should consult with Human Resources.
The University recognizes that to effectively recruit and retain key employees in certain professions, current market pressures may require starting salaries outside the established guidelines.
Salaries for Executive positions (grades 97,98, 99) are established separately.

呵呵，请问你有创造什么价值呢，你是上过课呢，还是出过什么科研成果呢？你是凭的什么贬低别人的劳动呢，你有什么证据呢？真不知道谁才是愤青呢！

科研？在我们这个论坛里，有几个人所搞的科研是真正的纯粹科研？可以说，80%都是扯淡！自认为读了一点书，就叫嚣的不得了！究竟有什么好狂的，如果让你来做处长、校长，恐怕绝对多数人也是乐得屁颠屁颠，别再以所谓的知识分子自居了。在中国，还是拒绝浪漫，现实一点的好！人家行政人员怎么了，就不是人吗？垃圾清洁工就不是人吗？那些瞧不起行政人员、垃圾清洁工的所谓教师，你的父辈就一定比他们高贵吗？某些人实际上是一种酸葡萄心里，自己干不了处长、校长，看到别人干又妒忌。所以只能拿自己所谓的多读了几天书来自我卖弄，在现实社会中，如果只靠多读几本书就自认为了不起的话，恐怕你以后在社会上碰钉子的日子还在后头！
