现在小弟在作一篇关于公司并购后是否产生超额收益的论文，过程是这样的：先以并购前一段时间的市场指数为自变量，股价为因变量作线性回归，然后用并购后一段时期的实际股价a减去用回归模型所求出并购后的预期股价b，得出超额收益e。然后我要T检验这些超额收益e与0的差异性。若e>0,且检验结果显著，则可说明有显著的超额收益。但是，EXCEL中有那么多种T检验（双样本异方差、双样本等方差、成对T检验的等），我该选用哪一种呢？具体过程如何呢？急盼热心高手答复，小弟感激不尽！

DO you know Event Study?

I think you should attack the problem within the Event Study framework.

The simplest way is to perform t-test on single sample. That is, to test the hypothesis whether the mean of e is zero or not. You only need to calculate the sample mean and standard deviation, and construct the 95% confidence interval of the mean of the distribution of e, then check whether zero is in this interval or not.
