The syetem includes three modules:the receiving of message, microcontroller and printer. Microcontroller is the control device in the design,which is programmed by C language, and use AT commands to initialize and control the GSM module. A SIM card is inserted into GSM module to receive text messages, and micro-printer prints the messages content, the sender and the time received. In the design , it uses 4052 chip to expand the microcontroller serial interface ,so we can get two serial interfaces, and connect with GSM modules and micro printer. The system uses asynchronous serial to transmist the data, and the interface circuit is easy-to-understand. The system can receive nd record SMS easily through long-distance and wireless, and achieve the function that uses a mobile phone to send and receive faxes.
