The future of virtual instrument have to bond to related IT technology, just like the presence and development of the computer technology increases the invention and application of virtual technology, which exploded a technical revolution in the measuring technology area. Traditional mechanical measuring technology is stepping into rapidity, automatization, intelligentization and integration. So the research and development for the automatic measuring and analyzing system, which is based on the virtual instrument technology and applied in the engineering area, are increasing sharply. According to this situation, this thesis does some research work about the developing thinking, developing solutions and developing process of the automatic measuring and analyzing system based on the virtual instrument technology on the software platform, LabVIEW. This thesis presents a set of schemes for the virtual instrument construction, which is based on the mufti-function data-acquisition card and graphic programming language LabVIEW: to build the program with a top-to-bottom structure, which divides the system into several independent function modules and designs a independent sub-VI for each single module, when the superior module calls a certain sub-module, then run the sub-VI related to thesub-module, in order to carry out the module's function.
