However, the human eye is very sensitive to the neutral gray and a little color slanting can be aware. Therefore, neutral gray balance is often as an important means of controlling color stability. G7 process is the main method of a new printing technology to control gray balance. Its purpose is to help in the CTP and ultimately to effect of the same appearance in the commercial offset. With G7 process occurs, the print reproduction process has raised a new level. In line with the G7 process to better color reproduction, G7 test form will become the most important detection tool. With G7 test form's diversified design; it tests all aspects of reproduction problems in the process of printing that would arise. This article will comprehensively analyze every part of G7 test form and compare with the traditional printing test form. Then, analyze their strengths and their respective control points. Finally combine their respective strengths to improve the current test form of G7 printing. It will lay the theoretical and practical basis for the future G7 technology and improve the final print copy level.
