李宏彬，史带经济学讲席教授(C.V. Starr Chair Professor of Economics)，清华大学中国经济社会数据中心常务副主任。1993年获中国农业大学经济学学士学位，2001年获美国斯坦福大学经济学博士学位。2007年加入清华经管学院以前任香港中文大学经济系教授。
2009年被评为教育部长江学者特聘教授，2010年获国家杰出青年基金。2005年4月荣获由世界发展经济学研究会举办的“关于中国收入分配和扶贫”国际征文比赛一等奖。曾获得斯坦福大学Koret 奖学金（1995至1998年）及斯坦福大学Provost 奖学金（1996年夏）。
主要教授课程 “高级微观计量经济学”, “发展经济学”, “学术人才培养计划”，及“新生研讨课”。
在JPE, EJ, ReStat, JoLE, JPubE, JDE, JHR等学术期刊上发表过大量论文。主持了多个由中国国家自然科学基金，香港研究资助局等多家基金资助的科研项目。
是《比较经济学》和《中国经济评论》的编委，《中国农业经济评论》编辑顾问委员会成员，德国IZA的研究员，北京大学莫里斯经济研究所的资深研究员。并于2006年至2007年间任香港中文大学经济金融中心副主任。
