Fracking Activity Fell ‘Severely’ in September: Tudor Pickering

U.S. fracking activity fell “quite severely” in September, Tudor Pickering analysts led by?George O’Leary?wrote in note.
Tudor said U.S. active frac spread count declined nearly 9% m/m, or about ~30 spreads; activity is now down ~18% since April, which was the last time the market experienced a m/m uptick in U.S. frac spread count
Adds the Marcellus, Haynesville, and MidCon accounted for >70% of the m/m declines in Sept.
