China H-share banks will soon report FY2006 earnings, starting with BoCom on March 8. We expect H-share banks will generally report in-line with consensus results without significant upside surprise, and hence with limited scope for 2007E earnings revision after 2006 results (though we expect upward revisions to 2008E NPAT consensus due to tax reform). We also expect 4Q06 results to confirm the positive improving trend of NIMs qoq/hoh and asset quality, which will carry through into 2007
