Responsibilities:

1. Define and develop risk models

2. Perform statistical analyses to identify portfolio cleaning and pruning opportunities

3. Determine the optimum cost of risk acceptance plus execution of technical price given different distribution channel

4. Setting rules for underwriting and claims adapting quickly to underwriting cycles

5. Identify and confirm market trends and business/niche opportunities

6. Provides input for business planning, rate monitoring and support reinsurance strategy and decision making

7. Sign off documents according to provisions of local regulator

Requirements:

1. Degree in mathematics, statistics or actuarial studies

2. Minimum 2 years actuarial professional qualification (qualification obtained abroad need to pass China regulator’s exam)

3. Minimum 3 years actuarial/finance/investment experience in insurance company

4. Very strong quantitative, analytical skills combined with innovative thinking

5. Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to translate complicated data into clear and easy messages for the management

6. Good command of English
