学MATLAB还是SAS?

Matlab (for Matrix Laboratory) is a programming language, e.g., you can compile the source code into .exe file. It is superior in matrix operation, computation, simulation to SAS. it is easier to customize to suit your need.

SAS, on the other hand, is a script language, e.g., you can't compile code into .exe file. It is very hard to debug, and extremely hard to customize. It can handle very large dataset.

Matlab一般是数学的人才会用，很少看见有学经济的人奔去学Matlab.很喜欢Matlab，矩阵计算的速 ...

这个问题问得好，楼上打什么回复的也好，受教了。

SAS运用范围比MATLAB运用范围要窄些，想以后接触更多的行业，可以考虑下学习MATLAB

SAS毕竟这样大，很多优势是R无法比拟的，比如说出报表，但是有一点算法定的太死。R模块多点，但是实在功能限制的太多，只能分析数据。我可能会转下matlab

matlab用的面广，sas用的面比较窄，最好两个都学学，感觉从长远出发还是matlab好些
